DO I HAVE TO CREATE AN ACCOUNT TO PLACE AN ORDER?
Yes, customer accounts are personal and allow us to better track your orders / returns / requests.
Creating an account only takes a few seconds and will also allow you to benefit from the small attentions that we reserve for our most loyal customers.
HOW TO CREATE A MARDI ACCOUNT?
Nothing could be simpler, go to the "Account" space at the top right of our e-shop homepage (if you are on your smartphone, this button is in the drop-down menu), then click on "Create an account". Enter your email address and fill in the requested information.
Your account is personal and we do not share your data. In your "Account" area you will find all the information related to your orders.
By creating an account you will also be able to subscribe to our newsletter. If, despite this information, you encounter difficulties, we invite you to contact us by e-mail: shop@mardi-editions.com.
HOW DO I LOG IN TO MY ACCOUNT?
To log in to your Mardi account, click on the "Account" button at the top right of the home page (if you are on your smartphone, this button is in the drop-down menu). Enter your email address and password and confirm.
HOW TO RECEIVE THE MARDI NEWSLETTER?
To receive our newsletter, add your email address in the "Subscribe to our newsletter" box at the bottom of the home page of our website.
By subscribing to our newsletter, you will be notified of new products, restocking and offers throughout the year.
If you haven't received any of our invitations, check your junk mail and add our email address hello@mardi-editions.com to your address book/contact list.
HOW TO UNSUBSCRIBE FROM THE MARDI NEWSLETTER?
If you wish to change the way you receive the newsletter, you can update your preferences or unsubscribe from the list by clicking on the link at the bottom of each email we send you.
HOW TO MANAGE MY PERSONAL DETAILS?
You can save your preferred delivery address in your account, so that you do not have to enter it every time you order. You can also delete and/or modify your saved addresses from the "My Account" page.
HOW DO I CHANGE MY PASSWORD AND PERSONAL DETAILS?
To change your password, go to the "Account" page, then "Forgot your password? By clicking on the link you will receive by e-mail, you will be able to reset your password.
You can also change or delete personal information, such as your date of birth, phone number, etc., by going to "Account", "View Addresses", "Edit" or "Add New Address".
I HAVE LOST MY PASSWORD, WHAT SHOULD I DO?
Don't panic! You can reset your password by clicking on "Forgot your password?" and entering your e-mail address. You will immediately receive an e-mail allowing you to set a new password. If you wish to delete your Mardi account, please contact us at shop@mardi-editions.com. Please note that if you delete your account, the details of all your past purchases will also be lost.
PLACE AN ORDER
ARE MY ITEMS RESERVED IN MY BASKET?
The items in your basket are not reserved. Indeed, many of us create baskets that we do not finalise... As we work with limited quantities, it is not possible for us to reserve items for all our customers!
I PLACED AN ORDER, HOW DO I KNOW IF IT IS CONFIRMED?
You will receive a confirmation e-mail with an order reference number and a summary of the order.
As soon as your order has been shipped, you will receive a new e-mail with a tracking number. Remember to check your spam.
If you don't find it, we invite you to check on the "Account" page, if it is there, your order is validated!
If you have any doubts, don't hesitate to send an e-mail to shop@mardi-editions.com.
HOW DO I CHANGE/CANCEL MY ORDER?
You can add or remove items from your cart at any time before your order is confirmed. Once your order has been confirmed, it is not possible to add, remove or modify items in your cart. If your order has not yet been shipped and you wish to modify the size or color of an item or your delivery address, contact us within 4 hours after the validation of your order by e-mail at shop@mardi-editions.com indicating the reference of your order and the modifications to be made. If unfortunately the modification is not possible, we invite you to return the article and to place a new order. You will have 14 days after receipt of the package to return your items and request a refund. The cancellation of an order implies the immediate refund of the total amount of the order.
HOW DO RESTOCKING AND RETURNS WORK?
At Mardi, quantities are limited. We believe in a softer, slower and more responsible fashion. The majority of the fabrics we use come from overstocks of major fashion houses or textile manufacturers.
We buy these fabrics in batches and depend on the existing quantity. It is therefore very rare that our pieces are restocked.
However, we keep our favorite models from one edition to another and you will certainly find the model you are looking for in a new material/color in a next edition. We invite you to subscribe to our newsletter and follow us on Instagram to make sure you don't miss anything. Note that it is possible that your dream piece may come back in stock because another customer returned it to us. We update our inventory every Tuesday.
We also recommend signing up to be notified when a product is back in stock directly from the product page.
THE ITEM IS SOLD OUT ONLINE, IS IT AVAILABLE IN SHOP?
Our online stock is the same as our in-store stock, if the piece of your dreams is sold out online, it is also sold out in the store.
Please note that it is possible that the piece is back in stock because another customer has returned it to us.
We update our stock every Tuesday. We also advise you to register to be notified when a product is back in stock directly from the product page.

HOW DO GIFT CARDS WORK?
It is possible to purchase gift cards online. You will receive an email with the code to be used to activate the card. There is no obligation to spend the entire card at once.
The balance on your gift card is valid for 12 months after purchase.
Gift cards purchased online can also be used in our Brussels store (Rue du page 15, 1050 Ixelles) and our ephemeral stores.

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive an e-mail with a tracking number and a link to the tracking page of the selected carrier. If you are unsure, please email us at shop@mardi-editions.com, we are here to help.
MY PACKAGE IS LOST...
Delivery means the transfer to the customer of physical possession of the item(s) in the order. The risk of loss or deterioration of the item(s) is transferred to the customer at the time of delivery. If the delivery time is exceeded, i.e. 7 working days, you can contact shop@mardi-editions.com to make a complaint. A solution will be found jointly.
HOW DO I GET MY PACKAGE BACK IF IT HAS BEEN RETURNED?
Unfortunately, once your package has been returned to us, it cannot be resent to you. You will be automatically refunded within 7 working days. To get your order back, simply place a new order via our online shop.
RETURNS AND REFUNDS
HOW TO RETURN AN ITEM?
We accept returns within 14 days of receipt of the order provided that the returned items are unworn (with the label) and carefully packaged in their original packaging. If you are returning your entire order, please include the tote bag or other accessories in the package before returning it.
Any item returned incomplete (product label, buttons,..), damaged, washed or stained will not be taken back and/or refunded.
The refund will take place within a maximum of 15 days after the parcel has been dropped off at a relay point.
RETURNS FROM BELGIUM

HOW DO I TRACK THE PROGRESS OF MY RETURN PACKAGE?
Once your return request has been submitted on the website, you will receive an email with a tracking number and a link to the carrier's tracking page.
WHAT ARE THE REPAYMENT TERMS?
Your return will be processed within 24 hours after receipt. The refund is made to the bank account of the card used to pay for the order.
The processing of your return will be confirmed by e-mail. From this confirmation message, the refund will be effective within 7 working days.
HOW TO EXCHANGE AN ITEM?
We do not offer an exchange service on our website mardi-editions.com. To order a new size, a new style or a new color of the item you have chosen, simply return the items for which you will be reimbursed, and place a new order via our online store.
Are you in Brussels? It is possible to make an exchange by going to the store Mardi in Brussels (15 Rue du Page, 1050 Ixelles).
HOW DO I RETURN AN ORDER MADE WITH A GIFT CARD?
If you paid for your order with a gift card, a new gift card will be sent to you after our team has validated your return. This new gift card will be usable on our e-shop and in our shop thanks to a code.

Les retours des articles soldés sont à charge du client avec la méthode d'expédition de son choix et à ses frais. Mardi editions se dédouane de toute responsabilité en cas de perte de colis par le transporteur.
Cependant si le client réside en Belgique et désire tout de même faire le retour via la plateforme du site, des frais de retours supplémentaires de 5€ seront déduits lors du remboursement de la commande, et ce, peu importe le montant de initial de la commande.

HOW DO THE COLLECTIONS WORK?
Mardi proposes a new way of seeing fashion. Mardi departs from the classic model favored by the majority of fashion brands. Gone are the seasons, replaced by editions.
Each edition is in fact a "mini collection" of timeless pieces offered in limited edition. Each item is imagined by Marie, the designer, each one being the result of a meticulous search for the most beautiful fabrics and the perfect cut, down to the smallest details.
WHAT IS THE PHILOSOPHY OF MARDI?
We believe that simplicity is the greatest elegance. We favor quality materials and timeless cuts and develop limited-edition capsules that are modern, feminine, and soberly colored.
ARE THERE ANY SALES BY MARDI?
Mardi doesn't do sales. We promote a sustainable way of consuming fashion. We design timeless pieces that are made to be worn and loved for years. We believe that our pieces don't go out of style after one season and we like to show you how to mix and match them with our new pieces.
However, every 4-6 months when we order our next collection, we make a bet on how much will sell. We make this bet based on our own personal favorites and the amount of fabric available to make the garments. Sometimes we are too careful, sometimes not careful enough and sometimes our favorites are not yours.
So, twice a year, to make room on our shelves and to please you, we offer a percentage on a small quantity of pieces from our past collections (but never on our current collections).
WHAT ARE THE 10 PRINCIPLES BEHIND MARDI?
1. NO PLASTIC
Life in plastic....not fantastic! We've banned polyester from 99% of everything we do.
2. TIMELESS
The best clothes are made to last. We design our pieces to be worn and reinvented over time.
3. LOCAL
We strongly support European craftsmanship. Our collections are designed in Belgium and made in Portugal from materials we buy in Europe.
4. ZERO-WASTE
We recycle all materials used in our production process. We recover the leftovers and transform them into scrunchies, bobs, keychains...
5. LIMITED
We manufacture in small quantities to reduce waste and make our production more exclusive, but also to respect the materials we work with.
6. CIRCULAR
We make our clothes from dormant stock fabrics that we source from other brands and fabric suppliers. When this is not possible, we strictly source natural and low environmental impact fabrics.
7. ETHICS
Throughout our supply chain, we work hand-in-hand with great partners who share our values and commitments. We visit them often and continually push them to be more transparent.
8. BY WOMEN, FOR WOMEN
We are founded by women, run by women, and we make clothes to accompany women in their daily lives.
9. TOGETHER WE CAN
Believing that "teamwork makes dream work," we encourage our customers to shop responsibly and put together their wardrobe thoughtfully.

RESPONSIBILITY
WHERE IS THE PRODUCTION CARRIED OUT?
All the brand's partners have been selected locally, in Europe. In order to visit them (very) often, to establish a real relationship of trust and to make sure that their work always corresponds to Mardi's values.
Our pieces are made in a family workshop located in the Porto region of Portugal. Our proximity to our workshop allows us to closely monitor our production and ensure that the working conditions in the workshop meet our expectations (and yours).
The materials come from Italy, the Netherlands, France or Spain, the buttons are produced in France and the packaging (100% recycled) in Belgium.
HOW ARE THE MATERIALS CHOSEN?
Aware that a major part of the fashion industry's ecological footprint comes from the choice of textile fibers, Marie selects only materials of natural origin and/or with a low impact on the environment.
Fashion brands have too often favored petroleum-based synthetic materials such as polyester, nylon or acrylic. Mardi is betting on doing away with these fibers.
By eliminating them, Mardi proposes a more respectful, biodegradable and recyclable fashion.
We source the materials from which we create our editions throughout Europe. We work mainly with Italian, Dutch, French and English textile manufacturers.
The majority of the materials we use come from the 'sleeping stocks' of textile manufacturers and major fashion houses, we love the idea of giving them a new life with you.

HOW ARE PRICES SET ON MARDI?
Since day one, we have been charging a fair price on all our clothes.
By dispensing with intermediaries for the sale of our collections and by being in direct contact with our customers via our website and our boutique, we can reduce our margins and offer our pieces at the price that we feel is fairest. A price that reflects both the quality of the materials selected and the work of the artisans with whom we collaborate.
Our usual margin is about 50% while the usual margins in the fashion industry are around 80%. As we do not inflate our prices all year long, we do not have the possibility to apply important and excessive reductions.
WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO MAKE YOUR PACKAGING MORE SUSTAINABLE?
We use FSC kraft bags for delivery. These are fully reusable and recyclable. Using kraft pouches instead of cardboard boxes allows us to reduce our carbon footprint. Firstly, their production requires less material, energy and waste than cardboard boxes. Secondly, kraft pouches have a smaller volume and more of them can be transported at the same time, which significantly reduces transport, fuel and emissions.
HOW CAN WE MAKE OUR CLOTHES LAST AS LONG AS POSSIBLE?
Our top priority is to provide our customers with the highest quality items. All our pieces are made from 100% natural materials.
These materials are gentle on your skin and your environment, but unfortunately, they are more difficult to maintain than synthetic materials.
However, if you give them all your love, they will give it back to you for years.

I HAVE LOST A BUTTON, TORN A POCKET OR NEED A HEM, WHAT CAN I DO?
Although this service is complicated to provide remotely, feel free to drop off your part at our shop in Brussels. We will repair it for free or for a fee depending on the type of alteration required. That's also what sustainable fashion is all about.
